Critical Analysis of the Influence of Magnetic Reynolds Number on Mhd Jeffery-hamel Flows

The aim of the present study is to examine the steady flow of an incompressible conducting viscous fluid in convergent-divergent channels under the effect of an external homogeneous magnetic field. The non-dimensional governing equation for the considered flow field is solved in a power series to examine the instability of the problem using Hermite-Pade ́ approximation technique computed numerically. The critical values of divergent channel semi-angle and flow Reynolds number and type of the principal singularity for different choice of magnetic Reynolds number are obtained. The results indicate that the bifurcation points of solution parameters increase due to the effect of magnetic Reynolds number. The critical relationships among the parameters are performed to observe the behavior of the magnetic Reynolds number.
